Keepin’ It Fresh!
So after an eventful year in 2022 the Jumpman Journals magazine has taken stock In the last few days and looked at what was good, and also what we can improve on.
Change Is an ongoing concept here at the JMJ as we look to evolve organically into our vision of what a community of like-minded individuals breaking ‘Bred’ over sneakers, art and fashion looks like.
Call it a sneaker magazine if you want, but its far more than that for us, its a social gathering, its a platform for change, Its a community, an inclusive arena for individuals that have a positive spirit, a togetherness, which for us Is more important than what sneakers youve got.
Throughout 2022 the JMJ Family has had a presence at various events but more importantly to us we’ve had a presence In the streets with our regular feature ‘JMJ In the Streets’. We have plans to take this feature on the road, starting In cities across the UK, then onto Europe, cities like Germany where we have an ever expanding family via our Instagram account, we get regular requests to do ‘Sneaker Crawl’ (A Charity event we organised In Sept 2021, to raise money and awareness for LBA – London Basketball Association). We have a big following In places like Japan and JMJ will be travelling to these cities In the very near future. But first and foremost, look out UK because we’re coming to a town near you!
As we’ve attended these events, and different gathering mostly across London we’ve attempted to capture the experience and share with you what it was like on the day. We can vastly improve your experience with better filming and presentation. We’ve actively starting to invest in equipment and techniques that will help with this, and ultimately improve your experience.
Your feedback Is at the heart of what we do, we want to give you entertaining content and we expect to hear from you when its not. Your time Is valuable to us, and we know you’ve got all these big brands out there singing that song, trying to appeal to certain emotions to sell product, and what’s to say we’re not selling the same spiel.
All we can do as a platform Is to be consistently honest In our message and approach, and hopefully you feel that. Hopefully overtime you’ll see were ‘keepin’ it fresh for you’. That’s all!
